What We Pour

Concrete Services

Concrete driveways are our primary focus. We also handle the residential flatwork that surrounds a home — walks, patios, pads and slabs.

New Concrete Driveways

Our primary service. We lay out, form, prepare, pour and finish residential concrete driveways from straightforward front-entry drives to long approaches and turnarounds.

Concrete Driveway Replacement

When an existing driveway is cracked, settled or past its service life, we demolish and haul off the old concrete, correct the base, and pour a new driveway in its place.

Driveway Extensions & Widening

Add parking, a turnaround, or extra width alongside an existing drive. We plan the tie-in, joint placement and grade so the new concrete works with what is already there.

Parking Pads

Dedicated parking for a second vehicle, camper, boat or trailer formed, prepared and finished to shed water away from your home and outbuildings.

Concrete Aprons

The transition from street or garage to driveway takes the hardest use on the property. We form and pour aprons with attention to grade and drainage.

Concrete Sidewalks & Walkways

Walks from the driveway to the front door, around the home, or through landscaped areas poured to a consistent grade with clean, straight edges.

Concrete Patios

Level, durable outdoor living surfaces that tie into the architecture of the home and stand up to entertaining and seasonal weather.

Residential Concrete Slabs

Slabs and pads for garages, shops, sheds, generators and equipment formed and finished flat so whatever sits on them stays level.

Why Estep Builders

More Than Just a Pour

We approach concrete like builders. A durable driveway starts long before the concrete truck arrives. Layout, grade, drainage, sub-base preparation, reinforcement, access and finish all need to be considered before concrete is placed.

Site preparation

Layout, demolition, excavation and haul-off handled before any concrete is ordered.

Proper grading

The slab is graded so water moves away from your home, garage and foundation.

Drainage planning

We look at where water goes today and where it will go once the surface is hard.

Sub-base preparation

Base material is placed and compacted — the part nobody sees and everything depends on.

Reinforcement

Reinforcement is specified for your project and installed before the pour, not after.

Proper placement

Concrete is placed, consolidated and jointed with the crew and access planned ahead of time.

Professional finishing

Broom or smooth finishes applied for traction and appearance, with clean formed edges.

Clean jobsite

Materials staged thoughtfully, debris hauled off, and your property left in order.

Clear communication

You know who is coming, what is happening next, and what the scope includes.

Concrete Driveway Cost

How Much Does a Concrete Driveway Cost?

There is no single price for a concrete driveway, because no two sites are the same. A short, flat drive with easy truck access is a very different project than a long approach that needs excavation, demolition and drainage work.

Request an estimate and we'll evaluate your project and provide clear pricing based on your site and scope.

Questions

Concrete Driveway FAQ

How much does a concrete driveway cost?

Every driveway is priced from the site itself. Square footage, thickness, access, excavation, demolition of an existing drive, sub-base work, grading, drainage, reinforcement and finish all move the number. Request an estimate and we'll evaluate your project and provide clear pricing based on your site and scope.

How long does a concrete driveway take to install?

Most residential driveways are a matter of days on site rather than weeks demolition and preparation, then the pour, then finishing. Concrete continues to gain strength after it is placed, so we'll tell you when it is ready for foot traffic and when it is ready for vehicles before we leave.

Do you remove existing driveways?

Yes. Driveway demolition, removal and haul-off is part of what we do, and it is included in the scope of a replacement estimate.

Can you widen or extend an existing driveway?

Yes. Extensions, widening and added parking or turnaround areas are common projects. We plan the tie-in, joint layout and grade so the new concrete works with the existing drive.

Do you handle site preparation and grading?

Yes. Layout, excavation, sub-base preparation, compaction and grading are part of the work. A driveway is only as good as what is underneath it.

What affects the price of a concrete driveway?

Size and shape, thickness, how easily a truck can reach the pour, how much excavation or demolition is required, base material, grading and drainage work, reinforcement, and the finish you choose.

What areas do you serve?

We're based in Chesnee, South Carolina and serve Upstate South Carolina, including Greenville, Spartanburg and Cherokee counties — along with nearby Western North Carolina, including Henderson and Rutherford counties.
